I recently retired from academia (I was a professor for 24 years) and am now pursuing a long-time interest of mine...working as a VO artist!
I normally have a warm, engaging, and conversational voice. Additionally, I can produce an authoritative and announcer-like voice. I have produced several ACX audiobook projects, a Book Buddy Media project, and a series of children's audiobooks. I've also completed several video narration projects for Infinite Altitudes, chapter and video narrations for YouTube, and promotional ads for Image Brew and Power Engineers, Inc. I enjoy performing commercial ads and have a penchant for E Learning, training, corporate, and documentary style jobs.
I produce the audiobooks, narrations, and commercial demos in my home studio using a Shure KSM27 condenser microphone (cardioid) along with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface and Audacity software.
